"We had an amazing stay at Sambora. The facilities are lovely and very close to the gorilla tours. The food was also excellent. For those booking tours through Sambora, I’d encourage you to understand all charges ahead of time as costs are hidden / not fully disclosed for certain activities that are automatically included in your itinerary."

"Sambora is a hidden gem! The rooms are thoughtfully and tastefully put together with every creature comfort you would want! The bathrooms are huge and modern! We loved all the touches from the slippers, to the personalised cards, the crackling fires in the rooms and the food was a real show stopper! Every meal was delicious and exciting! The team are so friendly ( big shout out to Khai!) and are hands on and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home!"

"Our stay at this boutique-style hotel was truly exceptional. With only about 10 lodges, the intimate and cozy atmosphere made us feel like we were part of a small, close-knit community. One of the highlights was the shared dining experience – a long table where all the guests gathered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner within a set window of time. This unique setup created a warm and inviting environment, making every meal feel like a gathering of family and old friends. It added so much depth to our stay, turning what could have been a standard getaway into a memorable and heartwarming experience. The perfect combination of comfort, charm, and connection. "We had a truly amazing stay here. The rooms are spacious, the staff is absolutely wonderful and the food...wow! The entire meal time is an experience by itself. Their kindness, communicative smiles, generosity, attention to details, their joy (the dancers put a smile on your face from the moment you arrive), talent (the Chef is wonderful), and sympathy....I could go on and on."
