"Small authentic hotel with a beautiful view of the tea plantations. We booked a bungalow with a balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was good, but we waited for dinner for more than 1.5 hours."
"It was cold in the room, shower doesn't work"
"Beautiful lodget with incredible view and cosy cabins. Highly recommend booking the cottage rooms !"

"The staff is incredible, i left a t-shirt and they managed to get it back to me through another guest 1 week later in Kigali. Great view. Great breakfast. To get to nyungwe the best is having a car or asking someone else a lift. On the road there are anyways buses that take in front of the park and vice versa (but pay attention to the price they ask!)"
"nothing special for dinner"
"View is truely WOW; as it was very cold and I was the only guest I received a free room upgrade which was amazing; very nice room design; personnel was very attentive and they prepared "breakfast to go" for me, when I left early morning for my trekking tour; they also provided me a written booking confirmation tequired for my Gorilla trekking; credit card payment possible; dinner options in their restaurant"
"Bathroom had a bit of a bad smell; they use solar for hot water, so hot water works much better in the morning then in the evening"
"The most beautiful view I’ve ever seen. Right in Nyungwe. About 45 mins from Uwinka gate. Great breakfast. Mix of cabins and camping ground."
"Food for dinner was so so. No Wi-Fi (but I liked this as it helped you disconnect more and enjoy the forest) but some may need it. It’s a tough drive up the last little hill from the road to the lodge so you’ll need a 4x4 for this."
"Dieudonne was a wonderful & attentive host. Delicious food and a coal fire in the evening to keep warm. It was lovely to stay in the round traditional housing for a night, very cool experience. A very comfortable and welcoming stay. Highly recommended!"
"Minor thing; some of the doors on the rooms couldn’t be locked from the inside - think they just needed some fixing."
"Comfortable set-up in the tent, extra blankets and towels offered. Brilliant views and food from the restaurant"
"Aucun."
"The "princess cottages" are very nice (look like the ones in the Rwanda King museum not far away, and are very well isolated: this traditionnal housing is much better than concrete housing, particularly in rainy/cold season! And the wood fire in the dinner room after dinner was great!"

"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

"Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."
