"Breakfast was very good with extremely helpful staff. Hotel really clean and well maintained. Bed very comfortable. No balcony chairs so could not sit out but this was fine for us. Not the most modern hotel but very nice. Really easy flat walk into town. Would stay again."

"The hotel has been run by the same family for 40 years and the decor consists of items collected by the owners during the years. This is no way minimalistic but full or character and enjoyable. The private parking is in the basement and the floors can be accessed by the lift. The staff are amazingly good and the hotel is spotless. The breakfast is also very good. We highly recommend the Cerrado hotel to visit Lamego and the Douro valley."
