It is about a 2-hour drive from Franz Josef and Fox Glacier. Well-appointed wooden cabins are fitted with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and dining table. Some rooms include a kitchenette. Children can be kept entertained at the playground or small animal farm. Staff can attend to travel needs.

"Il posto più spettacolare dove abbiamo dormito In NZ, staff gentilissimo, casa indipendente mozzafiato, discesa a mare davanti l’abitazione e Glow Worms dell a 1 minuto a piedi … non penso si possa avere di meglio ad Hokitika ❤️"

"Struttura favolosa, di fronte alla spiaggia (amo il mare!!!). Il nostro appartamento era delizioso, grandissimo, molto pulito, letti molto comodi, con cucina attrezzata, zona pranzo e sala ben arredata. L’auto si parcheggia comodamente proprio davanti alla propria abitazione. Dietro la struttura si possono vedere i glow-worm."

"This is our second stay at Shining Star and it was just as good as the last. The location can’t be beaten with beachfront access and right across the road from the Glow Worm Dell. Allowing my children to feed the pet goats was also a lovely touch!"
