"L’alloggio è spazioso, pulito e tranquillo. Si è immersi nella natura ed è possibile fare passeggiate o riposarsi all’esterno. La stanza è un piccolo appartamento, perciò è possibile cucinare e avere abbastanza spazio. La parte migliore sono però gli ospiti! Una coppia deliziosa, simpatica e con mille storie da raccontare a colazione. Prendetevi il tempo per delle lunghe chiacchierate con loro perché ne vale la pena. Sia Francis che Andrew vi sorprenderanno con le loro avventure ( per cui dovrebbero scrivere un libro!) e la loro gentilezza! Sono stati 3 giorni davvero meravigliosi!"

"Esperienza bellissima in una struttura veramente top che è andata oltre ogni aspettativa. Colazione fantastica con la piacevole compagnia degli Host Andrew e Francis che ci hanno illustrato i caratteri e la vita in Nuova Zelanda. Se passate da Whangarei non lasciatevi sfuggire di pernottare da loro !"

"Clean, bright, well looked after. The hosts were superb. Breakfast was excellent in the main house. We walked the grounds 22 acres of hills, grass and great views. Super quiet with no outside noises."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
