Choice Backpackers offers self-catering accommodation in the Auckland CBD. All guests enjoy free, high-speed unlimited WiFi throughout the property. Guests may stay in private or shared dormitory style air-conditioned rooms, with residenza-quality mattresses and all linen provided. Choice Backpackers offers shared laundry and well-equipped kitchen facilities, available to all guests. "Perfect location. Reception Staff were excellent. Room 5 bed 5 was clean, Lovely crisp navy blue sheets, the bed was exactly what I asked for (bottom bunk) close to bathroom. Thank you. I enjoyed meeting 2 lovely young German girls who were sharing the room."
"There was one girl who dominated the room during the day time and I couldnt rest, sleep or have any privacy, so I had to go out. Then she kept us awake during the night with her ipad/phone, showing little respect for the others. I did personally clean up the kitchen one morning, but the day after, the kitchen was a mess. You may need to place several LARGE signs saying "This is a Communal Kitchen, Please respect other guests and clean up after your self and install several cameras. Ive seen cameras in other places and it works. The dining room was also messy, perhaps install a TV would be a good addition, a place for guests to relax and watch the news"

"Great location! Close access to Woolworths, great restaurant and cafe options, the library, cinema and art gallery. The staff were great and everyone who stayed at the hostel was polite, friendly and respectful. I would very happily stay at Choice Backpackers again."
"The laundry room was very small, so in an ideal world it would be nice if the laundry room was more spacious. It would also be nice if the shower rooms were a bit cleaner and better maintained, maybe even upgraded and updated. If towels were available for guests that would also be awesome! Something I notice at most backpackers too is that recycling facilities could be better, as in cardboard to be recyclable and not put into the trash and recycling facilities in general to be more encouraged to be taken into consideration by guests. In the eating space it would be awesome if the windows were able to be opened so there was nice airflow in the space (it could get quite stuffy and hot in the space) Other than that, my time at Choice was fantastic"
