"Ho apprezzato molto la posizione nel quartiere Baluwatar in zona residenziale tranquilla che risulta più o meno equidistante da molte attrazioni turistiche cittadine, alcune delle quali ben raggiungibili anche a piedi in 30/50 minuti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e grande disponibilità del padrone di casa Sunik sia per questioni pratiche/logistiche che per condividere un drink o una cena in amicizia. La mia sistemazione preferita è stata la camera doppia al piano terra con bagno privato con cucina adiacente. Ottima esperienza complessiva -Consigliato!"

"Lovely place close to the airport located in a quiet backalley. The Wi-Fi was really good and I found the bed super comfortable. The property is super close to Himalayan Bio Kichen which has some really great food and it's close to the airport, too (maybe 15-20 mins by bike). Communication with the owner was extremely smooth."

"I had a great stay at this accommodation in Kathmandu! Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The host, Sunick, was incredibly helpful and always available—he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Even my very late check-in at 5am was no problem at all! The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The common area is spacious and has a really cool vibe, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Overall, the service was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu. It is also a good starting point to go tracking."

"We had a wonderful stay at Peakman Residence! The place felt just like home – cozy, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially loved having access to the whole house, where we could prepare our own breakfast and enjoy relaxing movie nights. The bed was incredibly comfy and we slept really well. The host was super kind, flexible, and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated being able to extend our visit. Also, the creative and clear graphics with house rules and explanations were a lovely touch and made everything easy to understand. Overall, a perfect stay – we would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others!"

"We had an amazing experience! The host Sunik was super friendly and willing to help with all of our questions about things to do in Kathmandu as well as questions about our upcoming trek. It felt super homely, the room was clean and the overall vibe was great. I would definitely recommend staying here instead of any place near Thamel as it’s very busy and touristy. The location of Peakman was perfect as it was a 35 minute walk to Thamel. 5 minutes from a supermarket and there’s plenty of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Long story short; great place! Definitely go 😊"

"Very spacious room with attached bathroom and cosy blankets. The house is large with a small kitchen and lounge sitting area. Host was very friendly and helpful and even took us out on the night we arrived! Location is more residential than Thamel (yet still only half an hour walk away) which was great for cheaper food and a calmer time"
