"I had a lovely stay at the Eva Rosa in Wijk aan Zee. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped - including the kitchen. I especially liked the living room with its big doors leading out to the charming terrace. It was a very cosy place to relax and watch TV - especially after a big day in the city (Amsterdam). The neighbourhood is charming and peaceful, and the locals are really friendly. It felt very safe too - even at night. There’s a grocery store nearby (literally a 1-2 min. walk) and a number of shops and restaurants only about 5-10 minutes away on foot. I used public transport to get to and from Amsterdam the whole time and it worked just fine. As hosts, Angelique and her husband are great! They were both very kind as well as helpful. I can totally recommend this apartment, and will even check its availability the next time I travel to Holland. Thank you so much Angelique!"

"Hotel situato nelle vicinanze della stazione, molto comodo per gli spostamenti: il centro si raggiunge in circa 15 minuti di treno. La struttura è tranquilla e ideale per chi cerca relax lontano dal caos. Ho apprezzato molto l’iniziativa ecosostenibile: scegliendo di non far effettuare le pulizie in camera, viene offerta una bibita gratuita a persona,un gesto semplice ma significativo. Ottima anche la birra alla spina disponibile nella hall, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in giro. La colazione era davvero top, con ampia scelta e prodotti di qualità. Fantastica anche la macchinetta per i waffle, che rende la colazione ancora più piacevole!"

"The location is superb - the view is idyllic and the location is calm and quiet. For access to Groningen, the Park and Rides are very accessible, but you can also strike out to the north of the region to visit the many natural wonders. From here, even the amazing fortress of Bourtange is less than an hour away. The property itself is well appointed, and has all you need for a self-catered base. We travelled with a two year old, and a cot was provided promptly and there was excellent communication with the hosts (they were on holiday when we visited, but are normally around - nonetheless they made sure everything was OK, were contactable for us and had local help to set things up for us). The facilities are good, with modern television for when you are tired of looking at the stars from the patio furniture. We came for only a few nights as a stopover on our way further east into Europe - but we are definitely planning to return here when we next holiday in this part of the world."
