"The room was very nice, and had its own patio and hammock. The setting is peaceful and the owners are kind and always ready to help with anything. We saw monkeys and a sloth on the property."

"The room was not designed for the convenient placement of luggage.It's also a bit isolated if you don't have your own transportation and so you must have all your meals with them. But the food is good and reasonably priced."

"The hosts are very friendly and the food is truly outstanding (half board available). The setting is beautiful. The location is on a cobblestone road on a thin piece of land between Lago Cocibolca Nicaragua and Costa Rica, not far from the Penas Blancas border crossing. It's a real treat to stay with owners who have developed a bed and breakfast with a long term vision of being surrounded by nature."

"We were looking for a hotel close to the border and were very happy with our stay. After being stuck in the passport line for 3.5 hours, we arrived much later than expected, but the hotel prepared a hot meal for us when we let them know. The next morning, we enjoyed a tour of the property. We would gladly return if we are in the area again."

"This place is set in an outstanding and beautiful unspoiled and very quiet jungle setting. In nighttime there is no sound from civilization but only monkeys, the lake and the jungle can be heard. The night sky for stargazing is spectacular. All of this is topped with freshly cooked food from the nicest hosts imaginable. Coming from Costa Rica we originally planned to stay only one night but extended our stay because everything was fantastic."
