"La struttura non è situata in basso, ma in una posizione più alta con una vista splendida su vegetazione e playa Mazunte. Dalla camera si può sentire il suono delle onde dell'oceano e dalla piscina si gode di una vista panoramica che ti mette in pace con il resto. Le spiagge più vicine sono raggiungibili a piedi (10' circa). Lo staff sempre accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Ma il vero valore aggiunto è sicuramente Jan, lo chef del ristorante, che insieme al suo staff, ci ha coccolato con ottimi piatti, chiacchiere e sorrisi. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è decisamente migliore rispetto ai tanti ristoranti e locali del paese. Consigliato a chi cerca tranquillità e riservatezza."

"OceanoMar is lovely oasis with an amazing view of the sea from the pool. You could spend the day at the pool/loungers. There is a ceiling fan in the room and windows had mosquito nets. The sound of the waves at night are very peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are reviews that it's hard to get to the hotel via 'very steep treacherous' steps. However, we did not find this to be the case. It is also a short walk to a beach and very close to the viewpoint."

"The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, we couldn't believe it! Our room was also incredibly spacious and had a view looking right over the pool and beach. The staff were sweet and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious! The walk to the main town/village is quite steep (10 mins or so) but that was fine for us. Easy to access Punta Cometa too via a back route. Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer - it all exceeded our expectations given the price!"

"Some people said the pool could use a repaint which is true but is such a minor thing and the pool is still so lovely irrespective of that! Also note that they don't have a card machine so you need to pay via cash or bank transfer"

"The room was confortable, the swimming pool and view are great. It was not crowded so a lot of quiet space to chill. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, chef Jan is amazing."

"Even though we have the greatest room, there was no door separating the toilets, which is kind of awkward for a room at this price. Note that the WiFi is quite bad and can work or not on a random basis everyday. The staff does not speak English, which is a pity, but that’s a minor."

"This hotel is a 10 min walk from the Main Street. Although it’s not in the middle of town, with stunning location with beautiful views of the beach, and the hills covered by jungle, this hotel really makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The pool is great and has beautiful views. It many hotels in the area have a pool, and it’s such a great feature to relax after the beach. The facilities feature a lot of flowering plants, so you constantly see tropical birds and butterflies, even hummingbirds. The on-site restaurant is excellent. The parking is convenient. The rooms are very spacious, stylish and comfortable, and even though there’s no AC they are fully equipped with mosquito nets. The staff was friendly and very helpful, we had an issue the last night and they helped us find a great solution."

"The only thing that comes to mind to improve this hotel would be to include AC in the rooms and renovate some of the outdoor spaces (like the pool), which start to feel a bit old."
