It is just a 3-minute walk to Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, and less than 2 km to Bosque de Chapultepec Park. Rooms at Dimora Casa Gonzalez are bright and spacious, with hardwood floors and a fan. Some rooms have a terrace, others have a balcony. All rooms have a private bathroom. The dining room features a stained glass window. Guests can enjoy breakfast here, in their room or on the patio. Chapultepec Forest, about 20 minutes’ walk from Casa Gonzalez, accommodates a number of museums, including the Anthropology Museum and the Modern Art Museum. The Chapultepec Castle and National Auditorium can also be found here. The historic centre of Mexico city is 5 km away.

"- Ottima posizione - per chi ha voglia di camminare si può raggiungere il centro anche a piedi - Camera comoda / grande / forse avrei curato un pochino di più la pulizia ma nel complesso bene - Colazione ottima - conviviale - tipica / le signore sono gentilissime e disponibili e carinissime, anche se un pochino lente, ma non fa nulla fa parte della convivialità soprattutto se si è in vacanza :0)"

"Lo staff era super cordiale siamo arrivati in hotel la sera alle 10 e volevamo prenotare un tour alle piramidi di Teotihuacan per il giorno successivo. Il ragazzo alla reception è stato molto gentile e ha chiamato una guida locale per farci prenotare il tour. L'hotel ha anche un piccolo ristorante per la colazione che raccomando fortemente (cibo super buono e personale meraviglioso). La posizione è ottima in una zona dove vi sono molti uffici pertanto è tranquilla e sicura. Fatevi consigliare qualche posto locale dove cenare dal ragazzo alla reception non ne resterete delusi."

"Beautiful gardens within the hotel's compound, spacious clean rooms, delicious Continental breakfast with freshly baked muffins and Mexican conchas, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee. The hotel's owner has a great knowledge of all of the pleasures of Mexico City and often joins the diners for conversation over breakfast in the main dining room."

"A great location, and room was very comfortable, although a little small. Breakfast was fine, cooked to order. The manager was very kind and helpful, taking the time to sit with us at breakfast to advise on anything we wanted to know."

"Great Stay at a Budget Hotel I recently stayed at this budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. There was always someone at the front desk, usually the owners, which made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveler. My room was small but to be expected; both the fridge and air conditioner worked silently, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The shower had warm water, which was a nice comfort. The hotel is well looked after and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown where all the music and action is. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay! "
