"The staff are all very warm, welcoming and helpful. The pool was such a treat, too. The place and our room were very clean. They topped off our water container everyday which was very convenient."

"Hotel Teocalli is a gem in the heart of Tepozlan. Beautiful setting with a small garden and a pool for an afternoon chill. The rooms are very nice and clean with beautiful view on the mountain. The hotel staff are the nicest we have ever met, and the hotel manager don Marco was always present to make sure we have everything we need. This place was so magical. They also have massage, yoga and Temazcal service which I highly recommend."

"The location is right next to the downtown and Zocalo area of Tepoztlan, but far enough away to be quiet at night. The restaraunt was lovely, and the grounds are pristine and amazing. The staff is super friendly. The massage was incredibly relaxing and well priced."

"The bed was a bit firm and the pillows a bit lumpy, but all in all I slept much better than I expected. The AC takes a while to get up and running, but once it's running it's great. Staff doesn't speak much English at all, despite the listing having English as a language, but you're not near the border, and you're not in the city. It's perfectly reasonable for them to expect you to speak Spanish. They are super kind and helpful, and even if your Spanish is broken they will appreciate the effort and help you with a smile. Know some Spanish before coming, or use Google translate and you will have an amazing time. My biggest complaint is that the sewer system can't handle toilet paper, so just know that ahead of time if you experience Montezuma's revenge."
