Sunview Residence

"Bellissime camere, spaziose e accoglienti. Il proprietario e il resto dello staff sono stati gentilissimi e si sono messi a disposizione per ogni esigenza, hanno organizzato anche la festa di compleanno sulla spiaggia per mia moglie. La colazione buona e abbondante, forse solo un po' ripetitiva (2 opzioni: maldiviana o continentale). Nella struttura è presente anche un ottimo ristorante per i pranzi e le cene. Nelle vicinanze c'è un minimarket che vende un po' di tutto. L'isola ha una bellissima spiaggia bikini attrezzata con ombra, tavoli e lettini, è presente anche un chiosco per bibite e frutta fresca. Ci abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore."

"L'isola di Kaashidoo è un luogo perfetto per passare delle vacanze in completo relax ed immergersi nella vita maldiviana. La popolazione dell'isola è molto cordiale e ti salutano sempre tutti 😂. Il Sunview è una struttura molto accogliente, il titolare Mohamed ci ha fatto sentire a casa, così pure tutto il suo staff che sono sempre stiati disponibili ad esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. Le stanze sono spaziose e pulite. La bikini beach è distante 5 minuti dalla struttura (non esistono a kaashidoo strutture sulla spiaggia) però, grazie al servizio navetta gratuito, abbiamo raggiunto la spiaggia in pochissimi minuti e ci venivano a riprendere quando volevamo noi. Il titolare ci ha anche regalato la gita dello snorkeling come regalo di Natale 👍. Consiglio Kaashidoo e il Sunview a tutte le persone che vogliono vedere le vere Maldive in un posto accogliente in cui sentirsi coccolati come nei migliori resort"

"Ottimo hotel! All'arrivo mi è stato dato il benvenuto con un pranzo offerto (club sandwich con patatine e cocktail!) e proposto un bel tour per vedere i delfini nonché un veloce giro in scooter visto che restavo solo una notte. La camera è molto comoda e il ristorante offre buon cibo. L'isola è prettamente agricola, diversamente dalla maggior parte degli atolli, e vi sono anche le rovine di un antico tempio buddista risalente a prima dell'arrivo dell'islam sulle isole. Mi hanno offerto il lavaggio dei vestiti e pure molto veloce! Gentilissimi! Hotel molto consigliato!!"

"We extended our stay at the Sunview and stayed another 3 days . You can read the review of our first stay which is more about the place and staff . We used these extra days for more snorkling. We took a paid boat trip ( 35 usd pp) , just us . loved the fact that as soon as we dropped into the water , within 2 minutes we saw 3 Eagle Rays , beneath us . Then led by the great guide we moved across the reef and saw another beautiful Eagle Ray slowly swimming twoards us , so graceful . That is 4 of these amazing creatures in less than 10 mins, amazing . Then we saw a nice turtle and 10 minutues later we ended up in the biggest thickest school of fish we have ever seen. I am an experienced diver and what we saw in the hour we on the reef was excellent , Ive often not seen more diving in the best spots in the Maldives !"

"I am not sure, although we saw a lot that we were actually in the best place to see both live Coral , moe of which must exist there, and sea life , epsecially grey reef sharks , which Kaashidhoo is known for. I believe we were too near the harbour entrance which we understand ( the reef there ) was blown up using explosives to make the channel into the harbour , consequently the reef there is not so alive . We woiuld of liked to have time to explore around all the extensive reef that the isand has , I feel positive on the other side of the island the reef will be in a much better conditon . There is a dive and snorkel spot apparantly known as 'Kaashidhoo corner 'which has a lot of big fish , rays and high shark sightings too, sadly we didnt get to see it this time."

"Extremely friendly staff including the boss himseff with a lot of unexpected positive surprises and fulfilling every our reasonable wish at their best. Also all other peoople on the island were very friendly and that is why we have now visited Kaashidhoo for the 4th time."

"What disturbs us is the waste including a lot of plasic thrown away in the nate in spite of available waste containers."

"- The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. They picked me up at the boat arrival and they were ready to answer any question with a smile. It felt like coming to a homestay instead of a hotel. - They offered a free tour of the island which I enjoyed a lot. - The owner is very responsive and communicative through message and answered all of my questions even before I arrived. - The top floor restaurant is also open to locals, which makes it all a much more genuine experience. - The room was very spacious and clean, with AC, fan and good curtains. The bed is comfortable. Plenty of towels are provided. - The island is amazing and very local still. Most of the locals are very friendly when you meet them, saying hello and even starting a conversation. - The hotel made a nice bikini beach for the tourist, but also the local beach is really nice to discover. - It was so nice I ended up staying one day longer than planned."

"Clean and spacious hotel, the room was big and spacious so is the bathroom. There is a restaurant on the rooftop, basic but tasty food. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly."

"We had the pleasure of staying at Sun View Residence on the island of Kaashidoo in the Maldives, and we are extremely satisfied with our entire stay! The owner was incredibly hospitable- not only did he ensure our comfort, but he also fook us on a tour around the island, showing us the key spots and explaining everything we needed to know. Thanks to this, we felt genuinely cared for and were able to fully experience the local atmosphere. We consider our entire stay to be very successful. This is a place we can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique accommodation in the Maldives."

"The meny in the restaurant. I do not eat wheat ( gluten) Very much « vestern fast food», and almost no vegetarian food. Little seafood exept tuna. So, for me and some others food was a frustration, becourse it is no other real options to. But many shops that sell Oat etc you can make yourself."
