"Palmiste Villa is a quiet oasis in a bustling town. The nearby location to the airport was a huge plus. The small apartment is separate from the main building and is more like a bungalow. We only stayed one night there and headed to the airport the next morning. The host was very kind and even prepared us breakfast for our early departure."
"The street to the villa follows through a small road and is completely at the end of it. It took us a bit to figure it out."

"The hosts are superflexible. We were able to check in early and check out really late, without paying a fee. Besides that they are also really kind and nice, and they offered us a nice surprise for our honeymoon. They also did all our reservations at restaurants for us. The place itself is very modern and clean. There’s an outside kitchen that can be used and the pool is also nice."
"The village were the villa is located is very local and doesn’t offer a lot of facilities for tourists. For this place you definitely need a car since the nice spots (Blue Bay and Mahebourg) are ca 20 mins driving."
"The place itself was really lovely. It was very clean and new. We very much enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the attention to small details like mosquito coils to use at night. The host was kind. The garden was really pretty."
"We didn't like the fact our rooms were so close to the owners house. We felt just a little bit like we were invading their private space. It would be lovely to have a fence between the rented rooms and the main house."

"This isn't really a criticism as I assume most people would be coming in a taxi from the airport but if you are traveling by car be aware that the location is on a very narrow road off a very busy main road which is extremely hard to find, especially at night."
"Close to the airport, with beautiful rooms so it is convenient for an overnight stay if a few details are added. The owner is really friendly/hospitable and helped book us a taxi."
"Although close to the airport the surrounding buildings bring down the establishment. Constructive tips would be to bug proof the place, as this kept us up the entire night and made us uncomfortable. There were also several power cuts that happened which caused the A/C to fail so a back up supply would also help make things more comfortable."

"Host was very accommodating even though our stay was just for one night they agreed to accommodate us even though it’s not normal practice for most villa owners. Some fresh lemonade was left in the fridge for us on arrival which was amazingly delicious. The villa is well equipped with a nice pool and plenty of games for the kids. All rooms has Air-con which made our stay very confortable considering the heat. Even though it’s was a short stay for us we were very happy."
