"The neighbourhood is not nicest so if you don’t have car I would consider to stay there. On the other hand the location is quite convenient if you want to travel to the South and even to the North of the island."

"the house was spotless and had all the comforts and necessities for a short or longer stay. The owners are very kind and available for anything. They give us also coffee when we arrive there. There was the possibility of using the kitchen, also with everything necessary, and the outdoor swimming pool kept clean, with deckchairs for customers. In Mauritius the best accommodation we found. Only 1.5km from the metro stop with which you can get to the capital Port Louis or Quatre Bornes where there are all the buses to move to other areas of the island. A characteristic neighborhood with few tourists and close to many mountains for those who love trekking."

They arranged a car rental and checked very unintrusively each day to make sure that we had all we needed. The location in the centre of the island was a real taste of Mauritian life and we were only disappointed in our own inability to not get lost!"
