Luxury Maisonette

"Veramente un bellissimo appartamento, spazioso, moderno e funzionale. Ho soggiornato al Luxury Maisonette con mia madre e mio figlio di un anno e siamo state benissimo. Il proprietario è davvero gentile e disponibile. Ci è venuto incontro in ogni esigenza, anche procurandomi un seggiolone per far mangiare mio figlio. Le camere da letto sono belle con letti comodi , approvato il materasso pure da mia madre che ha problemi di schiena. Inoltre non sono vicine tra loro quindi si può avere la giusta privacy. Veramente uno dei migliori posti dove ho soggiornato"

"Niente tutto ottimo. Forse l’unica pecca ma non riguarda la struttura è che la zona è tutta un sali e scendi e quindi con un passeggino un po’ scomodo . Ma per noi è stato comunque fattibile"

"Appartamento veramente confortevole, spazioso, arredato con gusto e pulito. Molto bella la cucina, comoda e fornita del giusto per prepararsi piatti semplici e la colazione soprattutto. Anche il bagno e la comodità del divano ci sono piaciuti! Il Check-in “fai da te” è sempre molto apprezzato perché ci permette di arrivare all’alloggio con calma e senza fare corse. Il proprietario Darren è stato sempre disponibile e gentile nel fornirci le indicazioni ad ogni nostra richiesta! L’appartamento è posizionato in una zona tranquillissima di birgu (vittoriosa), a pochi minuti a piedi c’è la fermata autobus."

"Sull’appartamento e su darren nulla di negativo da segnalare, se proprio la pecca può essere nella zona in quanto è scarna di market, o meglio supermercati, abbastanza forniti di tutto in zona."

"Darren is a perfect host, answering every question and helping us even before our arrival. The apartment is large and perfect for 3 peope, but more coud easily fit 😊 The kitchen is well equiped. There are some small stores around, but you need to go at least once to Valetta to Lidl or Spar for propper shopping at a supermarket. Wi fi was very good. We used the A/C even if it has a coin meter, don't imagine it will break your budget. Close to Birgu center, 3 minutes walk. Lovely city, away from the crowds. We used the bus all the time (no.2 from the center or 3 or 4 from the main gate, 7 min walk). We used the boat only once to get to the Gozo ferry."

"Malteze buildings are made of limestone, so, in December, it was very cold inside. We used the A/Cs (one in each bedroom and one in the living) and it was better. The problem was with the towels that had no way of drying and we had only one of each per person."

"Not really suitable for a car but the local taxi service is good and quite cheap so we were able to visit everywhere we wanted. The airport is only 15-20 minutes away which allowed a cheap 1 day car rental to see the further parts of the island."

"There was nothing we didn’t like. The lovely square nearby was closed to traffic while we were there so it meant there was probably more traffic than usual trying to edge down the narrow streets, so it could be a bit noisy on weekday mornings."

"I highly recommend this place. Clean and nicely located a bit away from the center but at the same time it was close enough to reach the capital city by nice walk and ferry in 30 min. Very good contact with the owner - we could stay some time longer waiting for the plane - which was very nice of the host - Thank you again :). The place itself spacious but cozy with all the kitchen utensils one may need. What was very good were the manuals prepared at the place with all the instructions- for us most helpful was the ferry schedule. We went to Malta totally unprepared for couple of days and such a nice helping hand was totally great. What else to say... in one word everything was just perfect :) We hope to come back there one day as we all have fallen in love with the Malta and its beauty."

"Great size, great modern refurbishment of a beautiful old property. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had absolutely everything we needed."

"It was clean and had all the modern aminities which were required. Modern and nicely furnished. It was located in a quiet area and local transportation ( bus and ferry to Valetta) was reasonably priced and easy to use. It was a comfortable stay."

"Did not know that there was an extra charge for airconditioning when we origianlly booked the accommodation, there was a coin meter. However we did not require aircon as we used the accommodation as a base."
