"Si tratta di un hotel con una lunga storia e questo si vede e soprattutto si percepisce; probabilmente non è di una categoria superiore soltanto perché non ha l'ascensore ma, come dicevo, è un edificio storico e forse non si può mettere. Nonostante questo magnifico sapore anni 30, la colazione, servita anche questa in una sala bellissima con grandi tavoli di legno, era conferme agli standard internazionali. Ci è dispiaciuto stare soltanto una notte."

"Probably the most miserable staff in the breakfast room - didn’t even reply to my greeting, let alone muster a smile. Also - if you offer salads with several ingredients mixed in - please, don’t leave customers guessing, write a little card stating them. Allergies are a real thing."

"An excellent renovation job was done on Hotel Cesis, located a short walk straight up from the train to the traffic circle at about 2 o'clock. It's a short walk to all lovely, park-filled town's main attractions too. Our room was clean and very comfortable with old world touches and a good view of the beautiful.garden. There were three motion-sensitive lighted stairs in the room. The reception staff was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. We enjoyed our stay, wish it could have been longer, and would gladly stay here again. Cesis was worth the visit"

"We stayed during the City Day in summer, and there were loud celebrations on the main square next to the hotel that lasted until 2 a.m. Of course, this was not the hotel’s fault, and we were also informed a couple of days in advance that it would be noisy. So if you are not into lively public events and prefer a quiet stay, it’s worth checking with the hotel in advance to make sure no similar celebrations are planned."
