Lodge in Lituania

"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. "Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a contattare la struttura, il numero di telefono riportato non era disponibile. Per raggiungere la struttura, non c'è possibilità di farsi venire a prendere da loro, mentre le altre strutture della laguna lo permettono e lo includono nel prezzo del soggiorno.

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Le casette con l’erba sul tetto erano molto suggestive, a breve distanza da Rattvik e Tallberg ( pochi minuti di auto); la struttura, per quanto abbastanza ampia, è monto tranquilla e silenziosa; ambienti interni al cottage accoglienti puliti e ben organizzati; bagno comodo e pulito; ampi spazi per gioco e passeggiate con il cane; colazione inclusa nel prezzo semplice ma completa; personale gentile e disponibile. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo!"

"L'ambiente circostante: boschi e tranquillità; il proprietario, Ciril credo si chiami. Gentile e disponibile e parla italiano e serve una abbondante colazione salata e dolce al mattino. E mi ha prestato dei soldi per pagare la seggiovia e non li ha voluti restituiti."

L’unico suggerimento riguarda la colazione: sarebbe utile poter indicare le proprie preferenze in anticipo, così da evitare sprechi. Per il resto, tutto impeccabile: ottima qualità-prezzo e un soggiorno che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca relax e contatto con la natura.

"Bella struttura sulla spiaggia di Ampongorinana, staff molto gentile e premuroso: camera ampia e ben ventilata con un bel balcone e bagno. Armadio con cassaforte, ventilatore. Possibilità di servizi extra (lavanderia) e escursioni direttamente prenotabili in struttura, ottima colazione."

"excellent breakfast, efficient staff, nice location to visit Gent and other places. Good selection of restaurants nearby whereby the owner assisted in providing the available options. Linnen was good including the towels."

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!
