"Le camere sono piccole, ma ben organizzate e sopratutto molto molto pulite, abbiamo alloggiato per due giorni e siamo stati benissimo, rimane un po’ fuori la zona centrale di Unawatuna, ma in 10/15 min a piedi si arriva tranquillamente. I proprietari davvero molto gentili e disponibili, il caffè nella MOKA è un super plus, che si può gustare nelle zone comuni molto spaziose e pulitissime!!!"

"I proprietari sono gentilissimi ed ospitali, Pryanta parla italiano, e sua moglie ci ha preparato deliziose cene che abbiamo consumato sulla terrazza. La colazione abbondante e varia, ogni mattina ci coccola a con una novità. La camera molto pulita con ventilatore e aria condizionata. Camera rifatta tutti i giorni. Posizione leggermente defilata rispetto alla strada principale. Siamo stati molto bene. Consigliamo"

"It was my favorite place to stay during my trip in Sri Lanka! The owners are incredibly kind. The breakfast is plentiful and very delicious. My room was well equipped and very clean. The air conditioning is a huge plus! Beach within walking distance. Thank you for letting me leave my bags there until the afternoon after checking out.❤️"

"Not far off the main road, but in the nature and saw peacocks, monkeys and big lizards and woke up to the sounds of the rainforest. Lovely lady and good strong coffee (moka pot). Good room and lovely terrace."

"Loved this Homestay! The family is amazing and so kind, breakfast is impressive and super tasty and I was in the newest room that was light-flooded and had very comfortable furniture and a very nice bathroom. Great air circulation, great AC, everything perfect. We also got invited to join the birthday party of their teenage son, which was a really nice time."
"Nothing really, the only thing if you’re really light sensitive, you might wake up in the morning. Can easily be solved by wearing a sleeping mask or just using a scarf to cover your eyes."
"What a wonderful place! The location is quiet, within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. A very sweet and hospitable family. I immediately felt at home. The lovely room is clean, as are the shared balcony, the living room, and the small kitchen. The breakfast is fantastic, with generous portions and a variety of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. The family has a car and offers transportation for a normal price. Highly recommended, don't miss this place! I will definitely be back."

"The host was soooo friendly, soooo helpful and mindful. They showed us about the garden, beautiful plants and sometime we saw a peacock doing it’s dance. I got a sea urchin spike from the beach once and they helped me to got it out - sooo helpful and kind people. We also rented motorbike from them - best price on the market and always fully fuelled. If you’re reading this and want to be a traveller, not a toursit, book it now. The ac is also really nice."

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
