"Gave a real “home” stay experience like living with a family. The presence of the family’s hens and dog & cat added charm to the place. To sit and watch them stroll around the garden as I sipped my coffee in the verandah gave a very settled and restful feeling. The hostess was wonderful - caring and asking often if I needed anything without being instrusive. They handled it like I was a real guest and not just a commercial source of revenue. There is some sound (just conversations and comings and goings - nothing loud or disturbing) from the main family home to this room. For me this was a plus point as it made me feel connected - otherwise one can feel isolated when traveling alone. Will probably go back again someday."

"This felt like a home away from home Maree the host was so helpful always smiling a truly beautiful soul she helped plan a day trip and got us a tuk tuk for a whole day and for a great price Breakfast was amazing ,made with all ingredients from her garden She even gave us her beautiful coconut jam pancakes to take on the train The room was big and clean the shower was hot It’s a short tuk tuk ride from the station 300 - 400 Sri Lanka rupee Thank you so much for your kindness Maree. If we come back to Kandy we will definitely stay with you again"

"Located in a quiet cul de sac but very close to city centre and local shops. Only birds songs and the occasional tuc tuc /bike going up the neighborhood road. The spacious & stylish room, very well provided, cool and clean. The host did everything to provide me with food when requested at a very reasonable price and also delicious. She also helped me with information and extra requests like extra pillow etc not a problem at all. She's a star"

"Owner is super friendly. She made excellent breakfast. Loved the seats in the backyard. For a location in such a big city, it feels like you are somewhere in the jungle. Room is big and the bed was good. Amazing value for money."

"There are a lot of roosters around, they will wake you up at 5am. The room is attached to the owners home with a door. You can hear the tv and other things."

"I had a wonderful time at this lovely homestay. They have only one spacious room at the back of the house with a veranda. The family was very friendly and did everything to make you feel comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very nice and the house is on walking distance from the centre of the town. I will definitely come again and stay with them."

"Loved the host, Marie auntie, she's such an hardworking woman and a very caring person. The location was perfect, not too close to the city that It's chaotic, but not too far either, about 200lkr to the city center. It's calm, quiet, and very natural sub-urb."
