"L’accoglienza di Pringi é inimitabile! Ci siamo sentiti ben accolti e trattati, condividendo la casa con i proprietari c’è un clima ospitale e amichevole ma senza invadenza. L’host ci ha aiutato a programmare le prossime tappe del nostro viaggio con consigli utilissimi e con dritte su come evitare qualche fregatura qua e là per il resto del viaggio! Colazione squisita e per la sera siccome non volevamo uscire per cenare ci ha aiutati a ordinare un ottimo asporto. Ah, l’host parla italiano ed é stato come sentirsi a casa. Consigliatissimo se si cerca un posto tranquillo e amichevole dove scambiare qualche autentica chiacchiera con persone del posto."

"We had the best stay at The Peppermint with Pringi and Srimal, they are so welcoming and kept us entertained from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was lovely and we had the pleasure of doing a cooking class in the evening to prepare dinner. The homestay is clean and spacious and is located a short tuktuk drive from Kandy city centre in a beautiful quiet area surrounded by jungle. We wish to return in the future!"

"A magical house surrounded by lush greenery, close to the town center! A beautiful terrace among the trees, where the wonderful Pringi serves excellent breakfasts, and if you’re lucky, also dinners. Charming, tastefully decorated rooms with views of the greenery. The owners are extraordinary, lovely, caring, and very funny! I wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"If I could give a higher rating, I would. Pringi and her husband were incredible and we wish we had been able to stay longer with them. They were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us during our short stay in Kandy. Their home is beautiful, and the room we stayed in was so spacious, and the bed super comfortable. The terrace was really nice to relax on, and we had some delicious tea with with Pringi and her husband when we arrived. They gave us so many tips to see as much of Kandy as possible in the limited time we had. The morning we departed we had a very early start - not only did they help us research the bus we needed to take, but they both got up early and Pringi's husband dropped us off at the bus station at 5am! Pringi even packed us the most delicious breakfast of sweet roti to have once we got onto the bus. The property is up in the hill above Kandy and easy to get a tuk tuk from town. We will definitely be back, and for much longer!"

"Where do I begin? Staying with Pringi and Srimal is an experience you cannot put a price on. Their warmth and generosity is unparalleled, and after only 3 nights, I feel as though they are family. I have never experienced better hospitality - they will go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience, and that you are safe and cared for. Pringi is the most exquisite cook! I had my birthday at the Peppermint, and she organised a very special big breakfast. She taught us how to cook dinner and Srimal showed me a local side of Kandy that not many tourists are lucky enough to experience. Their house is absolutely beautiful - clean, comfortable and nestled in the mountains with the gentle noises of the forest singing you to sleep. I cannot recommend this wonderful homestay and this gorgeous family enough ❤️ I really hope to return."
