"We had a fantastic stay. The house is breathtaking, the room is spacious and clean and the hosts take very good care of you. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners and they made sure a tuktuk was arranged for us to go back and forth from Kandy."
"It takes about 40 min to reach the place from Kandy and the road is still quite bad - nevertheless, you do get to see beautiful views of the tea plantations and you arrive at a quiet place surrounded by nature."
"Jungle Tide was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! After a busy day in Kandy, it was the perfect place to escape and relax. What a stunning view to wake up to, so many birds in the gorgeous garden and surrounds and a beautifully decorated home with interesting pieces of art. From the moment we arrived, just the choice of books in the entrance hall made us want to stay for a week and relax on the verandah! Martin and Rani were perfect hosts and the meals were amazing! They helped book a tuk tuk for our transport each day. We enjoyed having access to the kitchen for the filtered water and to make tea. The cherry on top were the two well behaved dogs who took us for a walk! Thank you Jerry and Sally for an exquisite place to stay. We were sorry not to meet you."

"Beautiful main house and veranda with a fabulous view. Lots of birds in surrounding area and huge child-friendly swimming pool. Nice walks through tea plantations and easy to get the bus to Kandy. The food was delicious and I was excited to eat a rhubarb crumble made from Sri Lankan rhubarb. Sally the British owner has lovely stories about her life and childhood in Sri Lanka. Everything was clean and well maintained."
"Jerry has a short temper so I was nervous to say I thought he had overcharged me till I double checked my email (we were dealing in three currencies). When I did and got back to him he claimed my confirmation email from booking.com had been ‘spam’ and I had been misled about the rate so it cost me $50 more for the 6 days than I had expected (a lot in Sri Lanka). I was particularly cross as I tried to pay when I arrived and he wanted me to wait till the end. It was bizarre and disappointing."
"Jerry et Sally était vraiment très accueillant, malgré que nous parlons vraiment très très mal l’anglais ils ont su nous mettre à l’aise lors des repas partagée et nous avons adoré ces moments là ! Le cadre est très très beau malgré que ce soit difficile d’accès. Les repas sont très bon. Nous avons même pu nettoyer notre linge. Nos enfants se sont sentis très à l’aise."

"Il nostro soggiorno a Yala Wild House è stato meraviglioso. Siamo arrivate e siamo state subito accolte dall’host e dai suoi adorabili cani con una stupenda passeggiata (walking safari) a Yala National Park, che confina con la struttura, dove abbiamo visto animali e l’host ci ha raccontato della sua storia nel luogo. Al nostro ritorno abbiamo mangiato una cena buonissima e dopodiché l’host ha suonato un tamburo per noi coinvolgendoci con il suo adorabile spirito. Ha organizzato per noi il safari la mattina dopo, e ci ha portato la colazione al sacco, poi al nostro ritorno in struttura ci ha fatto trovare un’altra colazione, sempre buonissima. Il nostro soggiorno è stato breve, ma l’accoglienza dell’host e la meraviglia della struttura e della natura che la circonda sono state veramente memorabili e sicuramente lo consiglieremmo a chiunque!!! È stata veramente un’esperienza unica che poteremo sempre nel nostro cuore."

"Abbiamo trascorso una notte al Camp Leopard nello Yala National Park ed è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Abbiamo alloggiato in una delle tende del camp: semplice ma molto confortevole e soprattutto pulita. Lo staff è stato estremamente carino e accogliente fin dal nostro arrivo, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. L’atmosfera del camp immerso nella natura rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale, perfetto per chi vuole vivere l’esperienza del parco in modo autentico. Un’ottima scelta per chi visita lo Yala National Park e vuole provare l’esperienza di dormire in tenda senza rinunciare al comfort. Consigliato!"
