"Personale super accogliente e gentilissimo. Ci hanno accolto dopo essere scappate da un’altra struttura in Ella alle 9 di sera e ci hanno anche gentilmente preparato la cena fuori orario. Stanza super confortevole e molto grande, con una vista mozzafiato. Sia la colazione sia la cena erano ottime."

"Hillcrest Ella has really amazing views. You can view the entire hill range including the Little Adam’s peak, Ravana Falls and few others. If the timing is right, you can also see the famous Sri Lanka train pass by through the mountains. The hotel was also very sweet to give us an upgrade when we informed them it was our anniversary trip."

"11/10 for the service provided. The owner Hashan and manager Bhathiya are wonderful people and made our stay as pleasant as possible. The views are amazing and the breakfast was decent. They provide tuktuk transport for fair prices and can give you lots of information about things to do in the environment. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the room is spacious with a great balcony with an amazing view. The final road to the accommodation is indeed a steep and hilly road, but not scary. A car driver should be careful and a tuktuk driver can pass easily"
"The rooms are a bit outdated and could use improvement. Ella is also high up the hills so expect the rooms to be a bit humid. The cleanliness could also be improved. Also be aware that the rest of the hotel is in open nature so there’s a little bird’s nest in the hallway of 2 little birds. We’re used to it so it didn’t bother us."
"The hotel is in the city but in a slightly remote location. However, the view was exceptional. From the hotel, you could see: - Little Adam's Peak - Other mountains - Waterfalls - Beautiful scenery The rooms were spacious and had almost all the amenities. I would say it was a great stay. The breakfast was also very good."

"Mr. Hedly was absolutely amazing. From the little thoughtful touches during our stay to helping us get around the city, book taxis and tuk-tuks for sightseeing — he took care of everything. Super helpful, lovely staff, and an overall wonderful stay with great value for money. Highly recommended!"
"While the room views were amazing, the location is a bit tucked away and uphill, so we had to take a tuk-tuk for every trip to the market. Even though the rides were inexpensive, we still needed them at least twice a day, which added to the cost. That said, the exceptional service more than made up for it — truly a great stay overall."
