"I can see they're lacking funds for general maintenance. More could be done with standard of food. No fault of management or staff. All are great. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much"
"Very friendly and helpful staff all over the place - from reception to bar to barbecue team - everywhere :-) We had intially booked the standard rooms which were a bit too basic for us. After the first night, the manager organized an upgrade to the superior rooms which are a lot better. A lot!. Thanks again for that. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and always fresh prepared. During our stay the team set up a seafood barbecue for dinner, hope they keep this!"

"We were initially in one bedroom which the bathroom had a very bad smell. By the next day it didn’t improve so the staff very kindly moved us to a room upstairs that was way better. They have a bar by the beach, and even though the music was not intended to be too loud, the bass could resonate a bit in the rooms… so it might not be the perfect place if you are looking for quite and early nights"

"Hiranya Mountain View is a property with stunning views. I stayed in their dormitory room and had a wonderful experience. The beds and the entire place were very clean and comfortable. Chandana is a friendly person who helped me in many ways. I also enjoyed the Kandy city tour by tuk-tuk which cost only $8. Their service is excellent and I recommend this place to travelers from all over the world."
