"We visited this place on 26th of December 2024 and stayed 2 nights there. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean including the bathroom. Early check in facilities were also available and we loved the place a lot."

"Nice rooms, very clean place, near the restaurants and the beach, but far away enough to have a quiet night, quite cool rooms, even without AC (which we used anyway)"

"Wonderful hosts who looked after us very well in July. Great breakfast and also so helpful with other things you may need. Exceptionally clean room and bathroom which they kindly cleaned again when we extended our stay. Nice comfy beds Nice bed linen, towels and all things that make room nice. 2 good showers. Beautiful garden and plants. Very close to beach Good air con"

"It's just off the main road but feels secluded The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with bathroom and loo attached. Quiet AC. Owner and family all charming and helpful We ate good Sri Lankan curry and rice in their house and a lovely breakfast of string hoppers and sweet hoppers eggs and Dal. And mangoes and bananas from their own garden. Delicious! They are currently building a swimming pool outside the chalet bedrooms so the view not great currently but will be excellent once pool is finished and landscaped"

"We loved our stay here, the garden is well kept and just plain beautiful with all the lush greens. The house and our room in it on the second floor was very spacious, has a great layout, a modern and spotless bathroom and simple yet elegant style. It has AC but we didn't use it, it was relatively cool inside. Dilshan our host was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was that there was no wifi in the room only in the reception building, but we came here to log off anyways. Overall highly recommended! We will be back."

"New jaya villa è un posto carino, nel verde, in posizione tranquilla a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Bentota e dai ristoranti della zona. Il giardino è molto curato con bellissime piante e fiori. La colazione è servita su una terrazza esterna e prevede tè caffè, frutta, pane burro e marmellata e vari dolci locali. Il proprietario è sempre stato molto disponibile e gentile con noi: quando ha saputo che ci piaceva il coconut roti ce lo ha sempre fatto trovare a colazione, ci ha aiutato a cambiare i soldi e anche a trovare un taxi per raggiungere l'aeroporto. Abbiamo cenato a new jaya villa qualche sera e ci siamo trovati bene. C'è un minimarket vicino, comodo per comprare snack o acqua. La stazione dei treni non è distantissima, noi con le valigie abbiamo raggiunto new jaya villa a piedi ma ci sono anche molti tuk tuk. Qualità prezzo direi molto buono."

"Sanju il ragazzo alla reception è una persona eccezionale, e molto gentile e disponibile ad aiutare. La colazione è buona e molto varia, con vista sulle colline di Ella. La camera è superiore alla media e ha la luce sul comodino (prima volta qui...). La doccia ha il miscelatore e non le doccette separate per l acqua calda. È possibile cenare presso la struttura, la cucina è molto valida."

"A wonderful place to stay. The bed was large and comfortable, with a mosquito net. The shower was impressively hot with good water pressure, which was a big plus. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet the location is still close to the main street, making it very convenient. Another great feature is the small kitchen in the room, equipped with a sink, kettle, fridge, gas stove, and some dishes, perfect for preparing simple meals."
