"Welcoming host. Helped us hire mopeds for the day- she looked after a passport as a deposit. Excellent location. Short walk to the evening market. Lots of tuk tuks around for transport options. Clean and comfortable room."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early to drop off our bags and begin exploring the surrounding area. The location was perfect- super close to the river to enjoy food and/or drinks at one of the many restaurants nearby while enjoying the view, and so close to the main street and night market. The room was beautiful, well-sized for three people and so comfortable, with great beds, fans and air conditioning. The included breakfast was lovely, including a fruit platter, hot dish of our choosing and tea or coffee. They helped arrange transportation to the station when needed, which arrived early and allowed us to reach our destination with plenty of time to spare. I would most definitely book Villa Visay II again for future stays in Luang Prabang!"

"This hotel was booked with no real negative or positive expectations, mainly booked on location and price point, however, I really loved staying here. The room was cute, the staff were lovely, and I was genuinely happy to have stayed here during my time in Luang Prabang."

"The staff was very helpful and the location of the hotel is good. The shower was very good. For breakfast, there is not much choice but it's enough, and it's cooked for you on the spot. They also offered us some fruit, which was very kind."
