"the hosts are so nice and helpful, they offered a lot of help to us as we were foreigners traveling. We loved talking to them! the room was also super nice and clean: view of the sea, nice furnishing, confortable bed and very nice bathroom with a bathtub!"

"The location was the main feature for me. I was in Gangneung for the New Year's Day sunrise and I could see it from my window in my room. The check in was very easy, the room was cozy and warm, the facilities were clean. There was a strong food smell in the dining area but I was never really inside of it (just passing by). I did not eat breakfast at the hotel as I was already out before sunrise to see the sunrise. But everyone was very kind to me. I was certainly the only non-Korean person in the hotel and they were all kind to me."

"I figured out the Wifi but it would have been nice to have a page of information in the room for features like this (and the breakfast, I did not stay for it but I did not really understand how it was supposed to work). Even a page in Korean would be easy enough to translate with the Google translator app. I think a little more communication about the amenities would have been helpful but I don't know how much I missed out on because of the language barrier."

"The location is great: backed by a small hill and right in front of beach. The host is exceptionally good. He looked a bit old but was very enthusiastic and super kind. We booked for a standard room, but on check-in when seeing our little kid, he offered us a more luxury room for free. He then even took us to Jumunjin fish market by his car (yeah, for free also)."

"The hotel and the room were beautiful. Loved the western vintage style. We really enjoyed the view of the sea from our room. The bathroom was tidy and well ventilated. The owners were also very nice. There are tables outside where you can have a drink, eat together etc."
