"I’m a light sleeper and I’m quite sensitive to sound so I wasn’t able to sleep well on the first 2 nights as I was on the top floor (level 10) and there is this very soft sound coming from the rooftop throughout the day. I requested for a change of room and it was fine after I moved to level 7."

"The staff in the hotel was very professional and kind - I arrived earlier than the check in hour and they let me into the room without me even asking about that possibility. The room was modern and spacious. The hotel is very close to the Genocide Museum, mini markets, gym, restaurants. At the same time it was very quiet. I wish I was staying in Phnom Penh longer to enjoy Emerald Hotel!"

"Only downside was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the ventilator in the bathroom twice during my stay - not the fault of the hotel but rather of reckless guests. I hope that they charge anyone who dares to smoke inside."
