"We had a gorgeous time at Les Datchi Cottages - we were so warmly welcomed by Leila and Joel, and not forgetting Peter. It was a home away from home. A peaceful and beautiful setting and only a few minutes to the beach. Leila was incredibly friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations and kind in washing our clothes! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil place with the beach nearby."

"Amazing stay at Les Datchi Cottages in Diani Beach! The place is beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable — a perfect spot to relax. Leila is an outstanding host: incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming. We had lovely conversations every day, which made the experience feel truly special and personal. The contact with Mr. Joel was also excellent — very professional, responsive, and smooth from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!"

"We loved everything about our stay. The cottage is beautiful in a beautiful garden very secure and quiet. It’s only 3 mins walk to white sandy beaches with bars and restaurants if you want them. The cottage is so comfy with everything you need. Local restaurant with great food 1 minute walk away and little shop. The WiFi is the best we had during our Africa trip which was amazing as we work online. Layla and her family are the nicest people you could meet. Layla even made us homemade soup and did our washing. The room was cleaned to perfection with fresh flowers on our bed. Honestly we travel full time so stay in lots of accommodation and we cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely beautiful"

"We had a wonderful week in nature thanks to Leila and her husband, two cheerful and caring hosts. Peter, the gardener, was also a particularly lovely person. The best part for me was the large veranda, a cozy place where we could unwind."

"Excellent location at 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants..very quiet compound with only one cottage for guests that means a lot of calm and privacy. Verandah in the garden and trees provide cool environment especially compared to other places. Last not least the hosts are very friendly and helpful, they stay in the main house and are ever ready to assist with any needs that guests may have. Highly recommended."

"The host is the VERY VERY Warm and cares for the guests. Despite late booking the place was clean and well maintained. Very close to the beach (Walking Distance) Secure. Absolutely fantastic for a well deserved R&R."

"The host was great, very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cottage is a separate small house (a bedroom, a big kitchen and a big bathroom) with a nice porch located in the garden shared with the host house. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was 5 short minutes walk to the beach. It is in a very safe neighborhood. The host gave us mangoes and coconuts from the trees from her garden."
