"Questo cottage era perfetto. Avevamo tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Pulito e funzionale. I proprietari molto gentili ci hanno fatto trovare un messaggio di benvenuto con anche un gadget ricordo. C'è tutto l'occorrente x cucinare tranne forchette e cucchiai (perlomeno noi non li abbiamo trovati). In 10 minuti si raggiunge il centro di Akureyri. Consigliato al 100 x 100."

"Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Bellissimo cottage sulla collina di fronte a Akureyri, monolocale molto grande e arredato con stile. Da fuori sembra una cartolina, prato ben curato e portico con vista fantastica sulla fine del fiordo. Bagno grande e funzionale. Letti comodi, cucina attrezzata con tutto il necessario, fantastico il bancone dove mangiare guardando il panorama. Comoda anche la casetta di servizio dietro la casa con la lavatrice."

"It was the best place we stayed in during our first week in Iceland. We had a lot of space to live in. It was located very close to the Forest Lagoon and a few minutes away from Akureyri. We enjoyed having a place alone and very quiet."

"I can only recommend this summer house for the holidaying in the area. It has everything you need and super comfortable for a couple. The kitchen is well-equipped, it's warm in the house, mattresses are super comfy, shower with hot water and few extras like a washing machine made our staying there really pleasant. Flawless communication with the host was also a great bonus! The views from the house are fantastic and very relaxing."

"Very well-located about 10 minutes from Akureyri centre, on the opposite side of the fjord, so it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with a great view into the valley and to the mountains. Very well appointed - including a washing machine. The apartment was big enough for a stay of a 4 days, for two people, very comfortable beds, very clean, and a nice living space. For walks, a gravel road into the mountain starts about 500m from the house. Seamless check-in, and quick responses from the host on questions. For driving, the road around the mountain (not route 1 through the tunnel) is much more scenic. The waterfall Aldeyjarfoss (40km into the valley from Godafoss) is absolutely superb, with no people around. The Akureyri botanical garden was a very beautiful surprise."
