"We loved the setting, the remoteness, the peace, the beauty. Our cottage was warm and stylish and cosy and we LOVED our own natural private heated mini pool. The complimentary mini bar was a man unusual touch. The food in the Torfhus restaurant was EXCEPTIONAL, absolutely divine and the staff were lovely."

"The guest house is in a beautiful location conveniently located for all the golden circle sights. Our room was warm and cosy and we loved the outside hot tub. The breakfasts and the dinners were all delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful."
"The hotel advertised a service to wake us up if there were a chance of seeing the northern lights which we were very keen on and therefore signed up. We were disappointed to find out the next morning that other guests had seen the lights but we hadnt been alerted. We were more proactive after that and downloaded an app to alert us and in fact saw some fabulous lights in Reykjavik the following night."

"Casa immersa nel verde. Accoglienza molto gentile, camera semplice ma confortevole, al piano superiore un bagno in comune che serve 4 camere. Presente un piccolo frigorifero in corridoio per gli ospiti. Al piano terra, libero accesso allo spazio riservato alla colazione, dove è presente un bollitore. Pulizia ottima, padrone di casa molto disponibile, ci ha dato qualche consiglio per il viaggio. Colazione buona, ottima la marmellata fatta in casa!"
