"Lovely stay at The Blackhouse. Self check-in allowed us to arrive later than usual and have a seamless experience. Like others have mentioned, the lack of a stove with pots and pans was a bummer, but the estate more than made up for it with the luxurious space and cleanliness afforded to us from the get go. Would definitely come to stay again :)"

"The house is very spacious and beautiful. It was like living a dream, It was like being Diabolik and Eva Kant staying at one of their secret houses, a deluxe one. Being in the middle of nowhere with nothing around was an other interesting feeling: you are safe and warm inside the house, at the same time you are totally alone in the middle of an Icelandic landscape. Not having a kitchen is the main downside of this accommodation, also because no nearby facilities are present: that being said, we has a wonderful stay!"
