"Charming cabin in a remote area. Exactly what we were looking for. There was a bit of driving involved to get there, but we did not mind. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was very good, they made sure we found the cabin easily. The location is close enough for trips to the glacier lagoon, the Golden Circle, Selfoss, Vestmanneyjar island the black beach and Hella, where one can catch the highland busses for day trips into the mountainous areas. Still so much we missed to visit, so we might have to come back. Spacious rooms which are perfect for a family of 4 or 5, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen with all necessary supplies. We could not ask for more. There even was an outdoor grill and a jacuzzi, but we did not get the chance to use it (we've been out quite a lot). And nothing beats early morning coffee on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent view and the birds singing <3"

"Very nice and quiet place to stay. It had a hot tub with a nice view. It had all needed equipment."

"Low water pressure. Most of the lights were not working. Not that we needed them this time of year so it wasn't a big ptoblem. On the second floor not to much space for an adult but for children it should be ok."

"Good location, traveling by car is a default, the house is warm and cozy. Very correct hosts."

"Nice appartment at a remote location. Well situated if you want to visit Landmannalaugur via the easy route; F26&F208 (probably also doable with a 2WD). Large garden, nice hot tub, and two horses that like attention at the premises."

"Apart from the horses, we did not meet anyone there, including the owners (they supposedly are very nice people ;-) ). The second bedroom was at the attick, which had to be reached via a steep ladder. Not really a problem, just don't expect a large sleeping room."

"The host put some attention to detail, especially in regards to wall hooks. The was an outside grill for cooking and the host came over to show us how to operate it."

"Two things i did not like. The first was the diffculity in paying, which was altogether the fault of Booking.Com screwed up system. We almost had to resort to paying in cash ... where we were a bit short. Only the last day did Booking.com resolve the situation. The second issue was simply finding the property. The name was not correct so Waze could not find it, and at the time te host was not there to answer out calls."

"Bra läge för utflykter längs Islands sydvästra kuststräcka. Fräscht, naturnära, värdfamiljens hästar och jacuzzin efter en dag fylld med strapatser. Borde ha bokat några extra dagar för att njuta av lugnet vid Heklas fot."

"Heel compleet klein huisje. Fijne bedden, prima keukentje, prachtig uitzicht, helemaal als je het geluk hebt er met mooi weer te zijn. Heerlijke hottub en buitendouche."

"We loved our stay here. It is remote and peaceful, yet just a short drive to route 1. We enjoyed amazing views of the nearby glacier from the deck and the horses which roam the field. The inside is small but comfortable even for our family of 4 adults. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. The hosts, who live part time in the house also on the property, are very nice and helpful."

"Everything. I was really happy with the location. Also, the facilities the cabin was really nice. The view was very nice from the cabin. The host were extremely nice and were very accommodating to our family. Probably one of the best experiences."
