Markree Castle

"Semplicemente un posto da sogno, curato in ogni dettaglio. Personale molto cordiale e gentile. L'invito dopo il nostro arrivo ad esplorare ogni luogo del castello è stato fantastico, sembrava di trovarsi in Harry Potter! Un'esperienza che lascia senz'ombra di dubbio il segno. Ottimo anche il ristorante, la cena e la colazione. Un soggiorno incredibile ed indimenticabile."

"We love everything about this family run hotel. What’s not to love, the sight of this castle on the drive in to the staircase at the entrance. We are in awe of this place and can’t get enough of here."

"Superb hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here, The food was exceptional. Lovely grounds and gardens and a lovely room."

"A very minor issue was we had no connection to Netflix, reception said they'd send somebody but they forgot. I fixed it myself by googling the issue!"

"Stunning property that I adored exploring and wandering around. I stayed here last minute for a birthday treat and was assigned a beautiful room with free standing bath overlooking the gardens. It’s quiet, relaxing and I loved the SMEG tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was gorgeous and coffee great too. Can’t wait to come back!"

"There isn’t much to dislike. The only thing to note is that it’s predominantly a wedding venue so I was promptly ‘kicked out’ the following day as the venue was exclusively hired - would’ve been nice to hang around a little longer but that can’t be helped. Dinner was a very formal affair and would have like less formal options / room service"

"The food was excellent and the included breakfast was great. The service at dinner was also very good. The staff was polite and very attentive. Exploring the different rooms in the castle was a treat. The snooker table was grand."

"The grounds were under repair from a storm but it looked like the work to restore the gardens was almost done."
