Le scale per accedere alla camera e nessun aiuto per portare su i bagagli , la rigidità del check in alle 14.30 con evidentemente più di metà delle camere vuote

"La struttura sembra (e forse è ) una vecchia casa vittoriana, veramente molto bella, ben tenuta e pulita. Il contesto è fantastico, si trova sulla montagna sopra Victoria a pochi minuti di auto dalla città; la vista è incredibile e grazie agli ampi spazi comuni aperti si può apprezzare in grande tranquillità e confort. La camera è semplice ma molto spaziosa così come il bagno. Anche qui tutto molto pulito. Menzione speciale per il letto, fatto alla perfezione! Colazione ok anche se c'è poca scelta. Nota positiva: a differenza di altri posti più vicini al mare non ci sono mosche né zanzare."

The city itself was pretty boring, nothing to do and nothing really close by. Ofcourse this has nothing to do with the hotel

"The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

La struttura potrebbe essere più curata, ad esempio il lavandino del bagno crepato e che non faceva scendere bene l’acqua

"Mohammad was quite helpful. The sizes were quite small but did meet the purpose. A little over priced TBH but was OK."

"Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre propre, Calme et confortable . Le gérant est très serviable, abordable et de bons conseils pour les randos, aluguers etc....."

Le seul petit bémol, pour le petit déjeuner  nous aurions préféré des jus de fruit corrects plutôt que chimiques proche du soda.

Il maniglione del bagno sul quale si doveva agganciare il seggiolino della doccia per disabili si staccava e non era sicuro .. si rischiava di cadere e non ho fatto la doccia

"The location is great -- just 5 minutes to the beach and close to the main cafés and restaurants. The apartment is a good size and has a blackout system, so you don’t get sunlight coming in. The hotel also has two of the best restaurants in town -- Bottega and Plaza -- and they are fantastic."

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"Great small hotel and pub. Good breakfast with pancaces and best scrambled eggs I ever had in any hotel in Europe. They could sell it as separated dish and I would buy it every morning. Lot of TV channels for every taste."

"We know Zahara very well and this is the second time that we have stayed at the Playa de la Plata. We loved our apartment, which was bright , modern and well furnished . The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole complex is kept spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable stay - thank you!"

"Hotel vicinissimo al centro visitatori di Petra. Staff super gentile e disponibile. C'è anche uno shuttle gratuito che ti porta all'entrata del percorso per vedere Petra. Colazione abbondante, buona e di qualità, tutto fresco. Se doveste venire a Petra, consiglio questo hotel, non rimarrete delusi."
