"Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to stay in a paradise indeed in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off . Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay and hosts! ☺️"

"Clean, and a cleaner came each day, the roof terrace was amazing, lots of space. I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. I could have spent a lot longer here."

"Joan and Paul were great hosts! Very lovely and provided solutions to some of the issues with facilities. The space is beautiful, it’s quiet and they have two beautiful dogs who we loved spending time with."

Some issues with power on first day then on-going with water & wifi connection - apart from this, it was a good 5 days.

"It was wonderful. Ximena our host was just the best. We loved the pool and the generous outside loungers and seating areas. It being March and the crazy hot season, the pool water was like bath water! The location was fantastic. Everything was beautifully clean. It was lovely to have our own kitchen, which was generously stocked up before our arrival. There was nothing to fault. We loved our stay here."

"L'appartamento è davvero carino e c'è tutto il necessario per fare anche da mangiare. È molto pulito e circondato da un giardino bellissimo. La posizione è molto comoda e vicinissima al centro storico di Gjakova. Il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono persone stupende, accoglienti e disponibili. Grazie!"

"Great location, loved the customer service and the price is very competitive. The beds were comfortable and loved the fact that we could watch the African Cup of Nations on TV. The place is very clean. Really loved that."

While not the fault of the house, the Unexpected Electricity outages were inconvenient. Long terms measures could include a back up generator or battery storage. Would also be good to have toilet papers in the toilets, not everyone is a big fan of using water. I had to purchase my own toilet papers. Hot water didn't seem to work.

"La casa è molto bella, grande, pulita, ben arredata, allineata ad un standard europeo medio-alto. Potrete godervi la terrazza sul tetto, e le piscine (queste ultime sono illuminate di notte), tutti gli ambienti sono molto curati: camere ampie, salotto ben arredato, cucina elegante e funzionale, fuori da ogni camera ci sono sedie e tavolino per abbandonarsi a un momento di serenità e l'ambiente esterno delle piscine è ben equipaggiato con sdraio, pagoda, gazebo con divano e bancone da cucina a vista. Dal primo piano della casa fino alla terrazza sul tetto si può ammirare una bella vista sul Nilo e immergersi nella pace della natura circostante. Lo staff è numeroso e molto disponibile e attento, Mohamed può organizzare tutte le attività possibili per voi: taxi, gita in felucca, gita sulla mongolfiera, guida turistica, visite guidate ecc.. Mohamed è inoltre molto attento a suggerire delle soluzione che evitino ogni tipo di problema al turista."

Nonostante il servizio sia molto buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è soddisfacente, la casa merita tutto il prezzo pagato ma il problema sorge per ogni attività aggiuntiva che richiede un costo molto elevato e non è chiaro se si possa contrattare o meno. In particolare, l'unico modo per muoversi è il taxi e le opzioni offerte da loro sono molto costose senza un apparente motivo. Inoltre, siamo stati invitati a non uscire non accompagnati nel villaggio, quindi è un pochino limitante non poter uscire di casa autonomamente, evidentemente non è sicuro, motivo per cui direi che la posizione non è ottimale, anche perchè è scomoda per fare acquisti di cibo per cucinare e cenare a casa. Infine c'è sempre personale che gira per casa quindi è difficile avere intimità.

"Everything about the space was great, the location is very quiet and next to the ocean. The private dock was an absolute treat. The house was clean and well thought out. Lots of detail was put into the property and we really enjoyed it."

The ants were a problem, but that just happens in Bermuda anyway. We sprayed some bug spray and they died down. The wind was sometimes a problem and some of the outside furniture was not secured. But im assuming this got fixed fairly quickly.

"Owners responded promptly. Complimentary breakfast added a delightful touch. Beds were comfortable. The beach was just a 2-3 minute walk away, and parking was conveniently located right in front of the unit. The staff were exceptionally helpful."

The shower had a heater problem, there was no shampoo or soap in the lower washrooms, and the TV didn't work. However, none of these issues affected our stay.

"super schöne Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung, liebevoll und sehr praktisch eingerichtet 24/7 Bioladen war sehr gut zu benutzen, sehr gut durchdachtes Konzept, auch das Café in Intragna war super sowohl von der Lage, als auch von der Freundlichkeit und den Leckereien.."

Bahnhof war wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt. Keine Hinweise zum Weg zur Ersatzbushaltestelle Fehlende Information über Weg nach Intragna, ob zu Fuß möglich oder nur mit dem Auto

"The location was excellent, its best suited for families and those who want to spend time in solitude a little away from hustle and bustle of main road. House is well equipped with ameneties. Be prepared with your own stuff and its like living in your own home."

Nothing But a word of caution the road to house comes down from main Abbottabad road for 6 minutes through some steep slopes, tight turns and a beautiful forest. In the Morning its amazing, at night chance of getting panicked. Dont panick! Just make sure your car has good engine, tyres and breaks.

"Location in quiet area but still very close to the city center with many shops 24/7 nearby. Nice & comfy bedroom with AC and refrigerator- especially important in August :-). Additional benefit was the balcony, but the view was not spectacular. Breakfasts were very tasty and the view from dining room was very nice (8th floor)."

Just minor disadvantages: no power sockets available for charging in the bedroom, cash payment only. No hooks in the bathroom and towels I think shall be replaced after each 2-3 days.

"Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und komfortabel, die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir zwei Bäder hatten und der schöne Garten, in dem man gemütlich frühstücken konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich und freuen uns, nochmal wieder zu kommen :)"

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.
