"Più che un hotel, è il cuore della storia di Kathmandu dalla fine degli anni ‘70. Immersa in un giardino tranquillo nel perfetto baricentro di Thamel, c’è un’atmosfera sospesa nel tempo che fa immaginare le spedizioni dei grandi alpinisti del passato. La camera era comoda e con il materasso migliore mai provato. Arte, bar e ristoranti sempre a disposizione. Ci torneremo."

Il bagno è un po’ spartano per il costo della camera.

"Wonderful to be the only guests staying in the hotel, it felt special to have a chef come in to make our meals, which were very good. We had our dog with us sge was showing in a competition on site, she was welcomed and as we were the only guests she sat in the dining room with us. She was very relaxed and the next day came 1st in her Breed. We will return for another event soon."

Perhaps the bedroom could have been warmer.

The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Ho soggiornato al Les Hibiscus, una struttura situata non sul mare ma in posizione comoda, a pochi minuti di tuk-tuk dal centro di Zamanzar. È una soluzione ideale per chi cerca tranquillità senza rinunciare alla vicinanza ai servizi. La mia camera era ampia, accogliente e dotata di acqua calda e connessione wi-fi stabile. Inizialmente abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con la doccia, ma il personale ha gestito la situazione in maniera impeccabile: ci hanno subito spostati in una stanza ancora migliore, dimostrando grande attenzione verso gli ospiti. Il personale sempre disponibile e sorridente, inclusa la proprietaria, molto attenta e presente nei contatti. Tornerei sicuramente!"

"What an AMAZING place! The cabinas are well spaced apart and feel very private all located a in stunning and vibrant location. The wildlife is right on your porch, we saw howler monkeys’s, white faced monkeys, agouti, iguanas and lots of birds. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day exploring Montezuma. The cabins itself was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the hammock! It was very well kitted out with everything we needed for cooking as a family of 3 and the pre chilled bottle of water in the fridge was greatly appreciated on our arrival. Location wise it is perfectly situated only 5 min away from shops and supermarkets where you can get all you need and in the pother direction (around a 3 min drive) is Montezuma, with loads of delicious places to eat and lots of stunning places to explore. We most definitely felt at home here and didn’t want to leave"

"We enjoyed staying in this pleasant beautifully decorated house with the lovely host Genet and her 4 puppies. She was very warm ,welcoming and treated us like a member of the family. Genet was very efficient and organised and updated us regularly before our arrival. She arranged safe transport for us ,gave us very useful tips and reccomeded lovely places to dine at. Every day she prepared amazing traditional breakfast dishes and before we left even gave us her own home made berber and another special powder. Loved staying here and will always remember Genet"

When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.

"Favoloso, da non perdere. A 500 metri dal centro e due passi dalla spiaggia, da un bellissimo bar e daijimarket, . L'ostello è pulitissimo e ha tutto ciò che serve, piscina compresa. Ma, soprattutto, i gestori sono una coppia eccezionale che ti fornisce tutto ciò di cui puoi avere bisogno con la dolcezza e la disponibilità di mamma e papà."

"Il Riad é vicino alle attrazioni principali, é ben curato ed accogliente. Una colazione buona ed abbondante. L’Hammam assolutamente da provare. Sebbene la Medina sia un luogo calorico, all’interno del Riad sembra di essere altrove, con uccellini che cinguettano e l’acqua che scorre. Davvero un luogo pieno di energia."

"Camera stupenda, curata nei minimi dettagli. Posizione centralissima. Non abbiamo trovato posto al parcheggio consigliato 6/7 e abbiamo parcheggiato al parcheggio 9. In 10 minuti a piedi si arrivava comunque al b&b. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!"

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"Hotel a gestione familiare che ti fa sentire davvero a casa. Nue e Linda sono meravigliosi, educati, accoglienti e soprattutto sempre sorridenti. È esattamente l’ambiente che speri di trovare quando viaggi da solo. Non pensateci un secondo di più, andate in questo hotel, bisogna premiare chi lavora con passione e attenzione. La posizione è centralissima - un minuto a piedi dalla piazza centrale - ma la via è tranquilla e silenziosa. L’affaccio sulla Chiesa bellissimo. La camera è esattamente come appare in foto. Spero di tornare presto."
