"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

Kurtz, il proprietario dell'alloggio, molto disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta ancora prima di iniziare il soggiorno. Molto cordiale e gentile. Ci ha noleggiato auto e ci è venuto a prendere direttamente al porto. Bel ti plas è un ottima struttura, pulita accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario. Consigliatissima. "La stanza è stupenda. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Ho adorato ogni cosa, dal letto (coperta meravigliosa la voglio anch'io!), all'enorme doccia. Comoda entrata separata con codice. Ad un passo dalla via principale, a piedi in 2 minuti. Parcheggio facile in strada. Non offre la colazione ma c è un angolo cucina nella tua stanzs in cui puoi preparartela lì se vuoi. Fortemente consigliata. Proprietaria gentile ed accogliente ma non invadente. Top!"

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a large group."
