"We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful Nuevo Sol in San Juan. The room was very tidy and clean, the bed was great, the garden was a beautiful oasis of tranquillity and flowers, and the communal kitchen was greatly equipped. Most of all, our hosts Feliciana and Carolina were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They immediately made us feel at home and answered all our questions about the town and restaurants. Muchas gracias!"

"San Juan is a very active and congested town. Even though Nuevo Sol is in the heart of the town with several restaurants within a hundred meters, the property behind its' walls is quiet and lush, surprisingly so. There's a beautiful yard with plenty of places to sit and soak up the beauty and tranquility. The owners are wonderful and easy to get along with. There's also a kitchen."
"There are only three rooms, which is both a negative and a plus. No reception desk and no english spoken. Also, if you have mobility challenges, this is not the place for you; there is a steep passage to the entrance."

"Vicki, the lovely staff member, was super, friendly and helpful as was her brother. Bed was comfy, hammock lovely and setting wonderful."
"We were told to be quiet when a ceremony was being held in the yard, frustrating given we had paid for tranquility and space to talk freely with each other. Shower never worked well with hot water only available when trickling out."
"L'accueil par Viky était super ! Elle est adorable, vraiment gentille et souriante. La chambre avec salle de bain est très propre et confortable. La cuisine partagée a le nécessaire pour cuisiner. C'est un lieu vraiment apaisant avec hamac et vue sur le lac. C'est idéalement situé dans une rue parallèle à la rue touristique et à 2 minutes de l'embarcadère pour prendre les lanchas. Je recommande !"

"L'extérieur très agréable avec la terrasse, le hamac, la vue sur le lac (d'autant plus que nous étions quasiment toujours seuls dans la maison). Vicky qui était présente pour nous : sa disponibilité et sa discrétion, son sourire et sa gentillesse. L'accès à la cuisine partagée. L'emplacement super. Eau potable toujours à disposition."
