"Si può camminare fino all'ingresso di semuc champey ma sono 30-40 min. Un po' isolato da tutto, ma ne guadagna sicuramente in tranquillità. È in mezzo alla foresta, quindi può capitare che ci siano un po' di insetti."

"Personale super accogliente. Se arrivi dalle 17 alle 18 a Lanquin ti vengono a prendere gratuitamente, altrimenti devi organizzarti con i mezzi locali (tuk tuk e cassoni dei pick-up). Le stanze sono molto basiche a livello di arredamenti ma c’é l’ essenziale. La posizione é ottima per accedere al parco di semuc champey, a piedi sono circa 35 minuti."

"Potrebbero aggiustare le retine di protezione dagli insetti che in alcuni angoli delle stanze sono rovinati. Le porzioni dei piatti serviti sono molto ridotte nonostante il cibo sia ottimo. Qualche accortezza in più ai dettagli e sarebbe un 10 pieno."

Struttura gestita in modo accogliente con Manuel davvero eccezionale nella cura e premura agli ospiti! "Firstly, the location- located in the forest and walking distance from sumec champey it is ideal. We had the best walk down to sumec with the dog from the hostel showing us the way. Secondly, the people running the place where very happy to answer any of our (stupid) questions about the area or to help with Spanish. They made the property as good as it was and couldn’t have been any nicer."

"Personally, I loved this hostel. It's nestled in the jungle about 30mins walk from Semuc. Facilities are basic, and yes, as mentioned in previous comments, there are insects around, but that should be expected here. It's not luxury at all, but one of my favourite hostels so far as it feels welcoming and real - family run, the staff are lovely and will give you advice, also I had a personal tour theough the garden and saw my first howler monkey. They also have very decent onward shuttle prices. I recommend bringing snacks and water from Antigua or wherever you come from as there isn't anywhere nearby to snacks. The hostel sells breakfasts (yum!) and dinners, which are decent."
