El Puente

"Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole al B&B El Puente a El Paredón. Il proprietario è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, facendoci sentire subito a casa. La struttura offre ottimi servizi, tra cui una piscina rilassante, canoe per escursioni sul fiume e biciclette per esplorare i dintorni. La colazione era buona. La nostra stanza era accogliente, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole!"

"Spent five nights at El Puente and really enjoyed my stay. Given how hot it gets in El Paredon, having a pool was awesome. There is a guest kitchen for those who want to cook and free filtered water. Guests can also use their kayaks for free to explore the mangrove. Wifi worked well throughout my stay. Everything is within walking distance, so no need to get tuktuks to move around. Itama and Saoul were friendly hosts and it was nice to chat with them. I stayed in room 8, which is a bit small. Good for a solo traveler, but otherwise try to score one of the bigger rooms. If you arrive after dark, make sure that your cellphone flashlight works because the resort is at the end of a street that isn't lighted. So it's pitch dark to get there. El Puente is excellent value for anyone visiting El Paredon!"

"Great place to stay in El Paredon. Located in a quiet area with the mangroves in the back of the property. Good rooms with AC, a nice bed and good working wifi inside the room. Nice pool and sitting area to relax. They also offer free kayaks for the river and the mangroves. Had I wonderful stay here."

"There is no light at the road to the hotel but the light of my phone was enough to walk safe."

"The property has access to mangrove forest and kayaks that guests can use, this is great. People who work there are really lovely. A pool is a decent size. The bed is very comfortable. Overall good experience."

"Cleaning was so so, there was hair of past guests on a wall of shower cabin, some spider nets with little spiders on the corners of door frames, some humidity stains that once removed would help to make so much better impression."

"I reserved the studio with a private terrace for 4 nights and I loved my room. I rarely sleep well in unfamiliar places, but the beds were so comfortable. I was grateful they invested in good pillows as I was expecting the worst. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and I really loved the design of my room. It was quiet during the sleeping hours and I loved the location set back from the beach and on the mangroves. It's a very easy walk to the beach yet nice to be a little away from the action. I already reserved a second stay and definitely recommend this place."

"Communication could be a bit better. I read some reviews about breakfast being included but I have no idea if there was breakfast served or not. I went off property every morning to get coffee before 8 am. It is my own short coming to not speak Spanish in a Spanish speaking country, so I own that. However, previous reviews indicated an English speaking kayak guide (Angel). I enjoyed my tour because the guide took me to places I would never dare to go by myself AND he showed me how to properly hold the kayak paddle! However, there was a significant language barrier. I did have the foresight to bring a small flashlight which I recommend for walking down the road to the property to avoid twisting an ankle. I would suggest repairing the ramp from the bridge to the dock as it's not really walkable and quite dangerous. It would be an easy project that would add a lot of value to the property."
