"The friendly helpfulness of Lamin and Jeanette and their staff. Lamin kindly took us to his riverside lodge one morning for birdwatching. The beautiful compound with lovely palms, flowers and artistic decoration. Meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Lamin and Jeanette were also very flexible when we needed to leave early etc. We liked the location which was quiet and away from the main tourist area. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the beach and meeting local people. Local buses or taxis are very cheap and easy to find ."

"This is probably the best accommodation we've ever had. As soon as you enter the gate you step into a little piece of paradise created by Lamin and his wife Janette. Not only the accommodation itself but also - or maybe even mainly due to - the excellent hosting made this a holiday we'll never forget. Due to the small scale you really get to know them and for the time we spent in Gambia they really made this feel like our home. Lamin is a great guide who knows all the best places to visit, from beaches to local markets and restaurants. Next to that he is, and the same goes for Janette, an excellent cook who made us various local dishes which were all great! Last but not least we have to mention the friendly staff who are doing an excellent job of keeping the place in perfect shape and making the guests feel comfortable. Thank you again for making this holiday one of the best experiences we've ever had! Highly recommended!"

"Because of the more quiet location and not at the Senegambia Strip where all the tourists are, which was actually a big plus for us, you need some sort of transportation to visit restaurants etc. Lamin offers transportation and also knows local taxi drivers. For us this wasn't a problem since there is always someone available, but something to keep in mind."

"Ontbijd was prima. De locatie is wat ver van strand en uitgaansgelegenheden. De accomodatie was de beste die we gehad hebben met een prima douche met warm water."

"Zeer mooi ingericht heerlijke bedden een warme douche, prachtig mooi zitje voor je kamer om je lekker terug te trekken,zeer uitgebreid ontbijt hele lieve eigenaars, mooie tuin waar je steeds vogeltjes ziet. Je kan in de omgeving heerlijk wandelen om mooie vogels tegen te komen. Ik heb kilometers gewandeld"

"De rust die heerst in de uiterste verzorgde en charmante lodge beviel ons supergoed. Het is een waar paradijs in een minder toeristisch deel van Gambia. De gastvrouw en heer staan altijd voor je klaar als je vragen hebt/tips wil/ vervoer nodig hebt/ ... Net iets verder gelegen van het strand, maar daardoor begeef je je meer tussen de locale bevolking. Dit was voor ons een meerwaarde. Het ontbijt en de mogelijkheid tot lunch/diner in de lodge was prima. De kamers zijn netjes en worden dagelijks gepoetst door vriendelijk personeel. Wij komen zeker terug naar dit paradijs...!"
