Appena fuori dall'uscita 61 della A1M, l'Old Mill è una tradizionale locanda inglese che offre cibo eccellente tutto il giorno e dormitori con bagno interno. Durham dista solo 8 km. Arredate con gusto, le suite sono dotate di bagno con doccia o vasca. Dispongono inoltre di rete senza fili gratuita, TV, asciugacapelli, telefono e set per la preparazione di tè e caffè. Nell'ampia sala ristorazione, sul balcone rialzato o nel giardino d'inverno dell'Old Mill vi attende un menù raffinato con piatti inglesi ed europei. Il bar presenta alcove accoglienti che creano un'atmosfera intima e amichevole. Durham è facilmente raggiungibile e la Cattedrale e l'Università sono raggiungibili in soli 10 minuti di auto. "We had an issue with the heating in our room. But the staff sorted it out straight away providing us with heaters which did the trick! The staff were friendly and very helpful. A special thank you to the cleaner who was lovel. We ate at the Old Mill and the food was excellent and big portions. We didn't have puddings as we were both to full! A great location to Sedgefield for horse racing and for the Nationals cross country championships."

"La struttura è bella, la gestione è tipo Ostello: c’è una cucina comune se vuoi cucinare molto attrezzata, se invece preferisci c’è bar/ristorante. C’è una bella e grande area comune con tavoli, sedie e poltrone dove puoi stare liberamente e magari conoscere altri ospiti della struttura. Le camere sono piccole e i servizi minuscoli ma tutto molto pulito e nuovo. È vicino al centro, una passeggiata di 15/20 minuti, se preferisci puoi andare anche in autobus. Il personale molto gentile, non hanno gli asciugamani in camera ma per 5 sterline li puoi noleggiare."

"Appartamento moderno, ben arredato e pulito. La zona è molto tranquilla ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. In cucina c'erano dei piccoli assaggi delle aziende del posto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Anche grazie a questo, abbiamo trovato i negozi dove prendere i nostri souvenir. Segnalo che dopo la prenotazione verrà richiesta una caparra (più che legittimo, ma non avevo trovato la info su booking al momento della prenotazione). Caparra restituita in brevissimo tempo."

"Nice location right by the high street close to pubs and restaurants great feature have the suite with a bath in the bedroom as well as have a walk in shower in the bathroom soak and watch tv on the big tv it’s basically a posh studio flat. Great choice of breakfast if you go for it."
