Set in a Grade II listed Tudor building, The Old Crown serves traditional ales. An English menu is served in the restaurant. Just 200 metres away are The Custard Factory’s trendy independent shops, bars, restaurants and galleries. The Bullring Shopping Centre can be reached after a 10-minute walk. The Hippodrome Theatre is 15 minutes’ walk from The Old Crown. Cadbury World is 10 minutes’ drive away and Birmingham International Airport is less than 15 minutes’ drive from this alloggio. A flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities are included in each room, some of which have a four-poster bed. A selection of toiletries are provided and rooms have either shared or private bathrooms.

"Le camere sono situate al piano superiore di un antico pub nel cuore di Digbeth, quartiere alternativo pieno di locali e cose da fare. La mia stanza era grandissima, molto pulita, arredata con charme e dotata di ogni comfort. Il personale è stato accogliente, simpatico e gentilissimo. Tornerò sicuramente, consigliato."

"È una vecchia e grande locanda: al piano terra c'è un grandissimo e fornitissimo pub, mentre il piano superiore, molto basso e ricco di grandi travi di legno a vista, è stato riadattato per accogliere una decina di piccole stanze, molto pulite, fornite di asciugamani, di lavandino personale con sapone, di televisore, di bollitore, di due tazze, di due bicchieri e di varie bevande solubili. Il bagno è dotato di una doccia molto grande. Unico problema: la nostra stanza aveva un'unica presa elettrica disponibile. Lo staff è stato molto gentile. Un problema potrebbe essere la posizione: la struttura non si trova nel centro di Birmingham, ma è facilmente raggiungibile con una camminata di 15/20 minuti."

"Le camere sono sopra il pub, che è un'isola antica e curata tra palazzi moderni. Il personale è laconico (sono molto giovani) ma fornisce tutte le informazioni necessarie. Nel pub si mangia bene. La nostra camera dava direttamente sul cortile del pub, per cui c'era la musica a tutto volume fino a mezzanotte. La playlist è ottima quindi se non ci si deve alzare la mattina presto è divertente e piacevole!"
"Birmingham è una grande città, di dimensioni impensabili in Italia, per cui le zone che non sono centralissime sono frequentate da molti personaggi sinistri... Inoltre il fatto di essere sopra un pub rende molto probabile il contatto con gente ubriaca attaccabrighe."

"Really clean, great location, staff were really helpful. Amazing value for money. Yes it's noisy - it's above a pub in a lively part of town, so it goes without saying that, particularly on a weekend, there will be noise. I don't know why someone who takes issue with that would even book just to complain."
