Set in the Upper Swansea Valley, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Pentre offers on-site riding stables, trekking centre, and free Wi-Fi for all guests. The bedrooms are light and centro benesserecious and have a shower and a digital TV. The property no longer offers breakfast, however, guests can have lunch and dinner at local pubs, the closest being only a 2 minute drive or a 15-20 minute gentle walk away. Set directly opposite Craig-y-Nos Castle, Pentre Riding Stables is a 45-minute drive from Swansea. Neath Railway Station is a 15-minute journey by car. Pentre Riding Stables is also just down the road from the Dan-yr-Ogof National Showcaves of Wales. Please be mindful this is a WORKING FARM, where you can meet the horses and dogs right outside your window. You can take our friendly dogs for a stroll or even join a horse trek and ride up into the beautiful mountains. Come and experience the fun part of the countryside with all our wonderful animals. Right opposite Craig y Nos Country Park, with amazing walks outside our door. So much to do in our area, if you love the outdoors, this is a beautiful place to stay. Please also be mindful this accommodation is ROOM only, SELF check-in and located on a busy main road and a Working Farm with the expected noise and smells. It is also located in the middle of the countryside, and internet and telephone signals can be intermittent.

"The room was spacious and clean, and all the amenities that I requested were provided. Would definitely book again, right opposite Craig y Nos, so we had beautiful walks yippie! I also met the new cleaner a few times, and she was lovely, very helpful and welcoming!!!"
"A microwave was said to be provided, and I couldn't find it... Not the end of the world as we borrowed the one from the next room, but still could be slightly better! Also, the TV couldn't connect to the internet and wasn't plugged into a satellite, but no bother as we just yapped."

"So much fun! Took 3 kids here to the family room and for 2 hour pony trek. We had the best time! Room has fridge, microwave etc and comfy beds. The staff were so lovely, really kind and friendly. Lovely to hear the horses and see the yard in action too. Beds were comfy, it was clean and we had everything we needed."

"Wonderful staff, very friendly. The room was very spacious, although it does have a partially sloped ceiling, which could be problematic for some. The bed was fairly comfortable, everything was quite clean. We also booked one of their riding experiences, which was really perfect."
"The bathroom was quite cramped, but that was because of the limited width of the attic in the building. Because it is on a working stable, it was rather aromatic, if you're not a fan of the lingering odour of horses and their associated smells, it might not be a good choice for you."
