"Con la colazione c'è stato un equivoco sull'ordine che è arrivato in ritardo ma per il resto ok. In bagno mancano dei ganci per i teli da bagno vicino alla doccia e lo scopino per il water."

"It's quite expensive to stay - we upgraded to a lake view room, but had to be moved because the bathroom had a leak - no one's fault just one of those things, but it was the same price as a room overlooking the car park. We were given a free dessert on the first night to compensate for the inconvenience, but I did feel that some money could have been taken off the room."

"Everything was perfect for our stay we got married locally and had our nearest and dearest there to eat drink and had a great time. Staff couldn't do enough for us ."

"The hotel is beautiful and a great village location. We booked to walk around Rutland Water peninsula and it was a beautiful day. The room had everything you could need, it was comfortable, great size and comfortable bed We sat in the garden out the back of the hotel which ahain was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was brilliant. We had a lovely table... not on top of each other and the food was exceptional. The waiting staff were friendly and very efficient. The cleaning staff were friendly and so were the reception staff, great welcome and goodbye. Would return"

"The only slight downside was the breakfast service, it was very slow and the waitress kept getting confused. The food was excellent though so just a very minor improvement"

"The room was lovely, with a veranda overlooking the lake. Coffee machine and kettle provided. Large bath and separate shower. Very friendly staff. Evening meal with our guests was brilliant."

"Stunning setting. Easy waterside circular walks from the door. Hotel has lots of character and beautifully maintained. Spotlessly clean. Amazing food."

"We love this pub/restaurant and stay occasionally for a little treat. It has a lovely traditional feel with open fires and furniture to match the style. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff make you feel welcome. The included breakfast menu is plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal, it is a bit pricey but classy and gives a sense of occasion."

"Bar prices struck as very high. Also, one of the waiters seemed a bit impatient to take our order, he was very polite but made us feel a little hurried. However, only tiny things and we’ll definitely be staying again."
