"It's a very stately, opulent environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our suite (Akhnaton) was very spacious and luxurious. The evening meal was absolutely delicious. It was an exceptional experience and we had a very relaxing time."

"The room was excellent, dinner in the Orangery was fabulous, the Sommelier & Waiter kept us entertained with their banter. Wine was delicious & lots of choice. Breakfast: the breakfast yoghurt compote was delicious & made to order, also perfect avocado & eggs. Plenty of choice to set us up for the day."

"One of our desserts was frozen, it was supposed to be a mousse, I sent it back & the waiter swapped it for another dessert, no problem."

"We had an excellent stay at Buxted Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was gorgeous and had fantastic views of the grounds. The grounds were also stunning and we had an incredible time walking there. It was great that we were able to borrow some wellington boots provided by the hotel as the walk was a bit muddy at times. The food was delicious too. There was no extra charge for room service, which was a welcome surprise. The bed was extremely comfy!"

"The bathroom for our suite (Browning) was smaller than what I was expecting and was also a bit dated. There were stains on the bathroom tiles, which I am guessing is a natural result of age (nothing nasty!). Since the suites are of different sizes, I think it is unfair to charge the same for all the suites. The lighting in the room was a bit dim."

"Loved the hotel. The room was comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom was gorgeous Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was here for a birthday and was left a card and a box of chocolates from the hotel staff which was a lovely gesture."

"Everything. From start to finish the staff were amazing and made us feel very special. Marc, Vlad, Rob and the reception team were incredible and couldn’t do enough for us. A lovely touch for my partner’s 50th birthday was leaving balloons, a card and chocolates in our suite. The building was beautiful, the suite enormous and the grounds were stunning."
