"Breathtaking historical property in an immaculate quintessential English Village which is well worth a visit. Warm and friendly staff. Beautifully furnished rooms which were immaculate and very comfortable. Superb breakfast. All in all another memorable stopover. Look forward to returning."

"A beautiful property in a lovely scenic location with the added benefit of being close to the A1. Slightly surreal being the only guest the night I stayed but well worth the experience. I can totally see why it is a very popular venue for the wedding market too."

"Spotlessly clean, location Is wonderful. Leo was really friendly. So much history in this building. Clean, crisp bedding, lovely Molton Brown toiletries, so quiet in the village, gorgeous, plentiful breakfast. Would def stay again. Safe parking for motorbikes too. Couldnt fault it. So glad we found it."

"La struttura è bella, la gestione è tipo Ostello: c’è una cucina comune se vuoi cucinare molto attrezzata, se invece preferisci c’è bar/ristorante. C’è una bella e grande area comune con tavoli, sedie e poltrone dove puoi stare liberamente e magari conoscere altri ospiti della struttura. Le camere sono piccole e i servizi minuscoli ma tutto molto pulito e nuovo. È vicino al centro, una passeggiata di 15/20 minuti, se preferisci puoi andare anche in autobus. Il personale molto gentile, non hanno gli asciugamani in camera ma per 5 sterline li puoi noleggiare."

"Appartamento moderno, ben arredato e pulito. La zona è molto tranquilla ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. In cucina c'erano dei piccoli assaggi delle aziende del posto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Anche grazie a questo, abbiamo trovato i negozi dove prendere i nostri souvenir. Segnalo che dopo la prenotazione verrà richiesta una caparra (più che legittimo, ma non avevo trovato la info su booking al momento della prenotazione). Caparra restituita in brevissimo tempo."

"Nice location right by the high street close to pubs and restaurants great feature have the suite with a bath in the bedroom as well as have a walk in shower in the bathroom soak and watch tv on the big tv it’s basically a posh studio flat. Great choice of breakfast if you go for it."
