As a cyclist, the location is perfect for your Alpe d'Huez challenge, it's literally just a short ride to the start of the famous 21 bends. Also, there is a lockable garage right outside the ground floor apartment, perfect for storing your bike. The apartment is simply, but very tastefully furnished. Good shower facility with all your bathroom needs provided."

"We found the apartment bright and clean, with plenty of room: We loved that it was so warm, with plenty of hot water. It was extremely quiet for us, and we loved it’s proximity to the slopes. We had the most beautiful view of the mountains from our apartment - it was a wonderful way to start every day with the panoramic view!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Chalet du Lac, and a big part of that was thanks to Michel. From the moment we arrived, Michel was warm, funny and incredibly welcoming. He has a great sense of humour and made us feel completely at ease straight away. He was also very helpful throughout our stay and always approachable. We really appreciated his patience and kindness when communicating, as our French is limited. Michel speaks very good English, and we ended up helping each other along, which led to some great laughs and made the experience even more memorable. The location is excellent, especially being only about 10 minutes from Disneyland by car, which made our trip very easy and stress free. Overall, Michel is exactly the kind of host you would hope for. Friendly, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great stay.
