"A really nice welcome and we were shown our accommodation by Lynne. Perfect for the two of us. All the facilities to cook for our evening meal. Very comfy bed. Joined in the monthly quiz night which was fun. Our intention was to visit Oradour sur Glaine which we did. St Junien was a bonus."

"It's a very nice comfortable gite in an unusual location, part of an old tanning factory which they have been converting. We arrived early on a hot day, and it was very welcome to be able to borrow canoes and swim in the river. We cooked our own food, but did is available to buy I think."

"Very nice apartment, next to the river, weather was good, so sat out by the river,nice and relaxing. Lynn and Dean were excellent hosts, Lynn even helped out with a problem we had when we lived in France, resolved after 7 years."

"The whole venue is enchanting. As soon as we went through to our gite we were relaxed and content. It was the perfect place to stay before my other half’s operation at st Junien hospital. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The venue is right on the Vienne so we could do a bit of fishing or just rest and read a book."

"Location next to the river would have been excellent if the weather had been better. Food in the restaurant/bar was excellent. The hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. The gite was well equipped and comfortable."

"Ci è piaciuto tutto, dalla cordialità e accoglienza del padrone di casa, con cui abbiamo potuto fare qualche bella chiacchierata nei giorni seguenti al nostro arrivo, alla posizione della Maison e alla dotazione della stessa, che corrisponde alla descrizione fornita in piattaforma. Il borgo di Omessa è meraviglioso. Con partenza dal borgo, e senza necessità di utilizzare l'auto, si possono fare belle passeggiate (la strada antica che passando in un bellissimo bosco di castagni, collega Omessa a Tralonga) o quella che porta alla cappella di Sant'Angelo (sono solo alcuni dei suggerimenti di percorsi proposti dal proprietario Julien). Peccato non essere riusciti a fare vita di paese. La prossima volta sarà obbligatoria una puntatatina alla Cantina e al Bar, centro della vita sociale serale di Omessa, ci sembra di aver capito. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato il dono di benvenuto di Julien: una bella confezione dei famosi canestrelli corsi!"

"Typical old property within walking distance of Melle town centre. Beautiful wooden flooring throughout apart from the kitchen and bathroom. Well appointed, the only criticism would be the lack of hanging space for clothes. Plenty of drawer space however. Nice large patio space with table and chairs in the rear garden. Dishwasher was a bonus!"
